What is your favorite thing about St. Louis?

I have to give it to the Gateway Arch! It's the first National Park I've been to, and I don't think I'll ever be able to get over how stunning it is, especially when paired with a pretty sky. I usually travel to STL via Amtrak, so getting in and seeing the Gateway Arch has also come to signify me arriving back to my WashU home.

I chose WashU because....

I wanted a community where I could pursue all my academic passions, collaborate with my peers and professors, and get involved in a variety of activities and organizations. I continue to choose WashU because of that, the beautiful campus, the city, and most of all, the people.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

I have a couple! To relax, I love being at the leftmost bench (if you're facing Forest Park) in front of Brookings Hall. Fun Fact: From that location, you can see the tip of the Gateway Arch! To study, I love being on the second floor of Rudolph Hall near the Mars Exploration Rover replica model.

What is your favorite WashU Tradition?

I love the Symphony on the South 40 event every September! It's so much fun getting to hear members of the SLSO perform beautiful literature (everything from the classics to world premieres), enjoy free cupcakes, and spend the evening with new friends. I have loved participating in this event both as an audience member and performing musician!
