I chose WashU because it always felt like home: when I was 12 years old my mom worked for WashU briefly, and I remember exploring the campus and just enjoying being in the space. I also went to high school close by Wash U, and it was always a part of the drive to school to pass by campus and see students walking around who were almost always smiling. That always stuck with me and made me want to go to Wash U.
No, I have not.
My favorite tradition was definitely convocation: I made so many friends, enjoyed an amazing concert, and it made me so excited to start my first year at WashU.
My favorite thing about St. Louis is the history of the city: there are so many different communities and historic sites in St. Louis that you can explore. I have lived here for years, and I'm still finding incredible places around the city that make me love it even more.
